My name is Valentín Campestri, I'm 23 years old, and I live in Argentina. I consider myself a fun and enthusiastic person. I'm specifically focused on backend development because I enjoy working with logic, and I'm eager to expand my knowledge to undertake personal projects.
I've always been tech-oriented, although after finishing high school, I wasn't exactly sure which path to follow. I embarked on various personal and academic/professional journeys, which eventually eliminated my uncertainty. My path was 100% dedicated to programming. This is because it complements my short and long-term goals perfectly. I'm passionate about it, and I believe it's the future. Additionally, I feel it aligns perfectly with my skills since it focuses on logic and problem-solving. I see development as a tool that allows me to turn my ideas into reality, applying my creativity and ingenuity without any limits. I can start from scratch, working alone, and end up creating something revolutionary, leveraging my abilities and standing out by providing something useful to society (I'd love to see everyone using an app conceived and designed by me). Although I always prefer to work in a team, with trustworthy individuals, to collaborate and create the best possible product. That's when the best results are achieved.
I set my goals according to timeframes. In the short term (now), my objective is to secure a good job as a developer. My goals are to equip myself with as many tools as possible to later use them for independent development, connect with as many people in all the spaces I belong to, learn from them, and eventually find partners to join me on this long-term journey to progress together. Growing professionally is crucial to achieving my medium-term goal.
In the medium term (within 5 years), I aim to be well-established professionally and have accumulated enough knowledge over the years to execute projects that can revolutionize the market, accompanied by a group of individuals I intend to form along the way. I'm realistic and understand that "revolutionizing the market with a product" isn't easy, and there's a significant possibility of failure. That's why I plan to have a safety net in place that will allow me to pursue this possibility without the need to give up important things. This way, I can continue with my life as usual until eventually achieving success.
In the long term (before turning 30), my dream is to come true. When we leave a mark and achieve success, I won't stop. Success motivates me to keep going, which is why I don't set a "final" goal.
